Despite its arrival, Apple Intelligence still has a lot to learn.

Finally available, the most anticipated Apple Intelligence is rather disappointing, much unlike the majority of AI on other smartphones of competition to date.

Apple summarizes notification groups using AI so you can quickly catch up on what you missed. Long emails can be condensed, and a new concentrated mode that eliminates superfluous distractions is available. Although these things work in practice, I do not feel like I saved much time or energy after applying them for a week.

  • Apple Intelligence's initial features are all very familiar: writing tools that make your emails sound more professional; an AI eraser in Photos that removes distractions; and flashing gradients and sparkle icons that signal the presence of AI. Everything is there and functioning properly. However, none even comes close to the anticipated revolution in computer platforms that saves time.
  • There are basically two Apple Intelligences: the current one and the one that may emerge in the future. Apple is busily teasing features that have not yet been launched, even with today's launch announcement. Today's selection consists of a few tools with a loosely related purpose: to assist you in identifying the important information among the noise and eliminating distractions. Anyway, that is the theory.
  • I find notification summaries to be a little more promising; at the very least, it is amusing to watch AI attempt to condense a series of rumors or several doorbell notifications. However, it also revealed some significant information in a series of texts from a buddy, and I might have seen the messages much later if I had not noticed that synopsis when looking at my phone. That was useful.
  • The new Clean Up tool is included in your editing settings under Photos. It is made to swiftly eliminate things from a scene; you may either outline an object you want deleted or tap anything the tool has already highlighted. You only need to wait a few seconds to watch the selected object (basically) vanish because it operates on-device.
