A $400 million videoconferencing app that Verizon bought is being shut down

Apparently, Verizon's BlueJeans deal failed. 


Verizon is closing down BlueJeans, its Zoom rival it procured at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, as announced by 9 to 5 Google.

9 to 5 Google shared the text of an email received by BlueJeans clients that said that "We have pursued the hard decision to nightfall our set-up of BlueJeans items." BlueJeans' as of late presented a free Fundamental arrangement and free preliminary contributions will be suspended on August 31st, as indicated by the email. That email doesn't say how long individuals on BlueJeans' paid contributions will approach the organization's administrations. Verizon didn't quickly answer a solicitation for input.
